Guillermo Del Toro’s PINOCCHIO is absolutely stunning. A profoundly moving reimagining of the classic tale, told with gorgeously intricate stop-motion animation. Shout out to co-director Mark Gustafson, whose amazing work with Will Vinton is deeply felt throughout.

The documentary CINEMANIA follows a group of obsessive cinephiles who watch 2-4 films every day, only in cinemas & only on film. A fascinating portrait, as well as a great archive of New York City in 2001. There’s also a deleted scene at Kim’s Video Underground, RIP.
