I asked @IvanVendrov, @jacobmbuckman, @tamaybes, @finbarrtimbers and @neonbjb: "How might AI change software engineering careers?" @IvanVendrov It will feel very dumb for humans to be writing code in the year 2030. The job of a software engineer will be in many ways

I asked @finbarrtimbers, @jacobmbuckman, @kenneth0stanley and @Jsevillamol: "Which jobs might AI impact sooner?" Jaime Sevilla (Epoch AI) The jobs that will be first on the chopping board I think are the kinds of things you would delegate to a contractor. I'd say 50% chance that

I asked @jacobmbuckman, @neonbjb and anon: "Will AI become sentient?" Jacob Buckman (Manifest AI) People who think that AI will become sentient, the fact that they think that, I can only assume that for their definition of sentience, AI will have it. And for people who say AI
