New Yorkers are tired of living with mountains of trash on the sidewalk. Yesterday I joined @nyuniversity and @UnionSquareNY to unveil a containerized waste pilot on 15th Street, funded through the @NYCSanitation Clean Curbs pilot that we fought for.

This @ezraklein stat from today's NYT on renewables land use seems to pretty badly misrepresent the study it cites, and the below thread from @cecilscheib adds much needed context. Notably, the land "directly impacted" by wind turbines is *much, much* smaller than what's printed.

This is why NYU has taken the @WorldResources Cool Food Pledge to reduce food-based emissions 25% by 2030. Huge progress in just our first two years! @NYUgreen @nyu_eats
