Excited to share our work identifying IFITM proteins as key for cellular uptake of large drugs that break standard drug design rules! Hope it leads to new drug designs! This was a wonderful collaboration with @kevansf led by Kevin Lou @ucsf @arcinstitute

We are delighted to congratulate our marvelous alumna @CarolynBertozzi for being awarded the @NobelPrize in Chemistry today with Morten Meldal and K. Barry Sharpless "for the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry!!!!!"
Carolyn Bertozzi โ awarded the 2022 #NobelPrize in Chemistry โ has taken click chemistry to a new dimension and started utilising it in living organisms. Her bioorthogonal reactions take place without disrupting the normal chemistry of the cell.

Another thought: most new PIs have mentored people in the past. If you are not sure, reach out to their previous mentees/coworkers!

I concur. I confirm that new PIs will do everything to make their mentees successful! I contend that other hashtags are also cool. I also confess that Iโm a new PI @UCB_Chemistry and we are recruiting
