“Free market” conservatives unite with “green” liberals to come up with the most useless government mandate. If only the odd couple of Senators Cruz and Markey could deliver something useful, but bipartisanship does not always benefit consumers or the environment.

@growing_daniel Cell phone and laptop batteries use cobalt, but most electric cars use none. Those that do use cobalt, use very little, as the cathode is primarily nickel, which performs better and costs less than cobalt.
