Talking about “Standing on the shoulder of giants”: Leonardo already knew how eukaryotic DNA is packed! (Codex Atlanticus, fol. 520r, around 1490) – Probably not 😃but musing about his drawings is very inspiring. - I don't understand what the plasmid is doing on the left though.
