There is so much we still need to understand about peroxisome-mitochondria crosstalk. I like to think if mitos are driving the car, peroxisomes are like the GPS. More & more evidence shows how mitochondrial function is infact guided through peroxisomal cues.
Just published @ScienceMagazine .A basis—lung inflammation—#LongCovid (PASC) in the experimental model, and a potential therapy.[driven by alveolar macrophages and loss of their peroxisomes (Figure)].
