With a cohort of nearly 2000 meningiomas, we show that chromosome 1p loss portends WHO grade 2-like outcomes and 1p loss + 1q gain is associated with grade 3-like outcomes, regardless of original grade. This has the potential to inform WHO grading for routine clinical care.
