We just released CompAIRR β a tool that reduces greatly the longstanding computational bottleneck of identifying shared identical and similar sequences among large sets of immune repertoires. All the details/links are in the thread below. Feedback is very welcome! @airr_community
We are happy to report a dramatic speedup for one of the core computations for adaptive immune receptor repertoire (AIRR) analysis - the discovery and counting of receptors that overlap between repertoires! Check out our CompAIRR method: https://t.co/U5Sn442upv 1/7

We used scRNA-seq + BCR data to show that patients with mild COVID-19 had increased frequencies of clonally-diverse, hypermutated memory B cells compared to patients with severe COVID-19 ~1 mo post-symptom onset. @skleinstein #Bcells #COVID19

GABA-derived drugs #gabapentin and #pregabalin bind to the same motif in human Ξ±2Ξ΄ proteins that binds natural GABA ligands in bacterial chemoreceptors. This is a universal amino acid binding motif conserved throughout the Tree of Life: https://t.co/VxBkCfdfsS

Great work led by @pandaisikit @PRobertImmodels and @milenapavl, and wonderful collaboration with @SandveGeir lab.
iReceptor Plus partners, @victorgreiff and Andrei Slabodkin from @UniOslo, show that a compact vocabulary of paratope-epitope interactions enables predictability of antibody-antigen binding, in a new paper published at @CellReports. https://t.co/4mZdJtjtYn
