And I’m done, quite sad leaving Parliament but had an amazing time, worked for great MPs and teams. One of my regrets was not being able to show my Dad around, but one of my best days was taking my Mum. Am looking forward to working in housing! (drop me a message for coffee etc!)
So, after 3.5 years it’s my final week working in Parliament. It’s been such total privilege to have worked in literal palace, got to take so many cool photos too!. Really excited to go into public affairs in a sector I’m *so* passionate about; housing!

This may be boring and against the current mood, but it shouldn't be. You can still oppose defining Islamophobia due to free speech/weaponisation fears. But it doesn't mean it doesn't exist/backers are evil. We need to stop caricaturing debates on our society to really fix it.
I have big reservations on defining Islamophobia, esp given the seeming revival of blasphemy and the grooming gangs, but I do think people dismiss it as a concept just as a theology debate. eg I get Islamophobia from time to time despite never talking about my faith?.

This station is still closed? Bizarre! . @TfL, can't you redeploy a couple of your 30,000 staff from another station. ie nearby Euston or King's Cross?.

Maybe old fashioned but "I would not vote for a Muslim politician" should be socially unacceptable. Christians/Jews in different parties have different ideological views, not sure why it should be different for Muslims. eg I have *very* little in common with Muslims on the left.
I would not vote for a Muslim politician, just as I would not vote for a communist politician. I am not alone in this. So why does Reform keep pushing Muslim candidates to the front of the queue, in a party designed to represent the forgotten British majority?. They aren't good

Never mind a number of these people in this image are no longer MPs, every one of these people have totally different ideological leanings and views. Such a bullshit, dodgy account that targets the colleagues of far too many politicians that retweet and support it.
🇬🇧The UK parliament now has more Muslim MP's than any other parliament in Europe. Does the spread of Islam ☪️ across the UK concern you?
