Decided to give this a watch and holy SHIT... The frantic energy, the dirty aesthetic, the John Carpenter-esque weird synth score... also, Robert Pattinson is simply put AMAZING here. Fuck I LOVE this!
As awesome as Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck are, these are still my Supes and Bats. Like legit, no one has any idea how many times I wore out tapes of Superman 78 and Batman 89
The hardest pill for a lot of people to swallow. Batman's 'no killing rule' was only put in place to make the comics a little more child friendly. Michael Keaton's Batman killed people and he is still the best Batman... so like, shut the fuck up you fucking dorks.
Can we stop with the petitions to replace actors/change movies and shit? Don't like Brie Larson as Captain Marvel? Don't watch. Don't agree with RPatz playin Batz? Give him a shot before you shit yourself. And Sonic looking more Sonic will NOT I repeat NOT! Make that shit good.
@Sabrina45X
I've always found it all questionable. The girls my age (back when I was 15-16) were always with 20-25 year old men. The girls seemed to consider themselves more mature for it, even though the men were clearly total deadbeat losers that couldn't handle women closer to their age.
Robocop seriously MIGHT BE the only sci fi flick to go out of it's way to depict the uncomforable and abrassive humming of computers. It's seriously one of the film's best elements.
I don't think I've ever actually watched this. Seeing as I'm awake A LOT earlier than usual, have nothing going on AND the full movie is on Youtube... It's Night Flier time.
Just found out that Joel Schumacher passed. I always saw him as an exciting and very versatile director that could work in many different styles, my personal favorite style being the one he used for the film Falling Down, which I'm gonna watch today. RIP Joel, you were awesome.
So I found out I had Gallstones and a really bad Gallbladder on Thursday. Both were removed on Sunday. Have a selfie of me after the Surgery! I'm high on T3s now. Cheers!
The BEST Punisher movie, is LEGIT the Dolph Lundgren film. He fights Yakuza, he fights the Italian Mob, and he's SCARY! Fucker lives in the sewer and prays naked to god. Sorry Bernthal, you're a kid squeezing a capri sun a little too hard in comparison to this absolute MAN!
Am I one of the only people that really wouldn't mind a Friday the 13th sequel where Jason wears a mask like the one on the part 3 novelization? Always dug it
So I'm watching Morbius. Yeah, that was the wrong thing to do. I've noticed something though, when he's in 'Morb' mode, he just looks like a guy named Kevin (who most likely has a meth lab) that's screaming at the police on his front lawn at 3am in the middle of Florida.
Brad Jones just quit twitter over death threats and general harassment. I love The Cinema Snob, I think Brad Jones himself is a good man. This makes me feel genuinely depressed, the fuck is wrong with all of you?
WELP! It's officially July 3rd, which means it's officially my birthday AND I'm obligated to watch Return of the Living Dead like I do every year, because reasons.
Stuart Gordon has passed away at 72 and will always be one of my favorite horror directors. Re-Animator, From Beyond and Castle Freak are some of the best releases from Empire and Full Moon and still some of the top film adaptations of Lovecraft stories. Also Fortress kicks ass!
Treat Williams just may have been one of the most versatile actors ever. He could shine in pretty much any role in any genre. Dead Heat and his Substitute sequels in general have become comfort films for me over the years. RIP to one of the most likeable actors ever!
80s movies are the best. Mostly the best, some new stuff is okay. 80s movies as a whole are my jam though. Real heart, almost no irony, cooler music, tougher dudes, tougher chicks, just better movies. Just my opinion.
TIME FOR A FUCKING CONTROVERSIAL TWEET!!!
Terminator 3 is really good. Like legit. I love how fucking brutally dark it gets in the 3rd act. Franchise shoulda ended there.
I don't even watch any of these CW DC shows, but my fuckin lord does Routhe ever still bring it like crazy as Superman. If anyone were to replace Cavill I'd want it to be him. Guy deserves a second theatrical chance anyways, Superman Returns wasn't at all bad because of him.
People are unsubbing from
@GoodBadFlicks
because he enjoyed Justice League? Well I enjoyed it too, so feel free to stop watching my show over a fucking differing opinion too ya fuckin human urinal cakes.
Dawn of the Dead, besides being one of the coolest movies ever, has some of the most commentary tracks ever! Thanks to there being so many damn different cuts of the film 😁
I'm high as shit, I just watched movies for six hours on a stream... why not watch another one?! Remember BADASS? The Danny Trejo flicked based on that viral video of the old dude fight on the bus... Thanks Tubi, Thank You.
Haven't watched this in YEARS (oh my god what a terrible poster!) feel like seeing how it holds up sooooo here I go! I remember the aesthetics being slick, and lots of head choppies from the Headless Horseman, that stuff's always cool.
SO! Tonight rocked, obviously! Had a great time with my boys
@BrandonTenold
and
@GoodBadFlicks
riffin Nightmare Beach, Night of the Demon and Bollywood Evil Dead! these are just a few snippets of what made tonight god damn memorable!
The worst part about Rutger Hauer's death is, I have no idea what film to watch to celebrate his memory with. No matter what sort of character he plays, he always steals the film. Whether as Roy Batty in Bladerunner or the diabolical WULFGAR in NightHawks, the man oozed charisma.
So Last Boyscout has been one of my favorite movies for the last like 20 something years, and I've only JUST noticed that Danielle Harris is watching Lethal Weapon on tv. Shane Black you beautiful motherfucker you!
Baby boomers trying to claim BOOMER as the equivalent of the N-word for them, is the most fucking BOOMER thing ever. Maybe you shmucks should have shut the hell up about everyone being lazy eh?
For those complaining about how many Batman movies there are... I just want to note that there are 13 fast and furious films, made since 2001... not counting the serials/adam west movie, there are 8 batman films... SINCE 1989! Soooo yeah... It's not that bad.
Ted White portrayed an amazing version of Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th part 4. While this isn't my favorite film in the series, I can't deny the genuine menacing and imposing presence that White brought, especially with his past experience as John Wayne's stunt double. RIP❤️
And it's here... YET ANOTHER CineMasochist video! This time we're gonna find out the dangers of room-mates in one of my favorite erotic thrillers of all time, Barbet Schroeder's Single White Female!
I honestly sorta hate making RIP posts, they make me sad. But...we just lost two of the BEST Richards to grace the Entertainment World... RIP Mr Roundtree and Mr Moll, you both ROCKED at your craft!
The Barbarian Bros David and Peter Paul seriously legit had the physical dimensions of He-Man action figures and the personality of Loony Tunes characters. RIP David, and wherever Peter is I hope he's doing alright. We'll never see Charisma like theirs again.
Last night I watched Rambo 2 which I consider to be the purest form of 80s action but said it wasn't my favorite Rambo film...Rambo 4 fucking IS. So blown away by how beastly and bitter Rambo is in it and how violent it is. This one is the perfect follow up to First Blood.
Some time ago I began work on something, that remained a pencil sketch for a while... well, I found it, I finished it... AND for those of ya fans of the Radiodrome Dayz of yours truly
@Beyond1201
and
@GoodBadFlicks
ya might dig this! I miss those days as much as ya'll do :)
Well, it's officially my birthday. I'm 31. How am I celebrating? Gonna get drunk and watch Terminator 2. The actual James Cameron one to be specific, not the also awesome Bruno Mattei Shocking Dark. As a kid I would watch T2 almost every day at one point, sometimes twice a day!
Me and
@horrormom92
are gonna GET YOU! Cause tonight is gonna be a bloody good time live riffing and commentating on The EVIL DEAD! Tonight in just a few hours at 12:30am pacific 3:30am eastern on
I don't hate JASON X as much as I used to. Is it possible that I was more of a fucking grumpy old man at 15 than I am at 31? Is that that a thing? Because if so, that's weird. I musta really had some FUCK NEWLINE DIE NEWLINE RULES at some point. We're all idiots. dumb. idiots.
