We're doing a citywide audit on cycle parking, and will feed results back to @CityofYork but it's clear there's not enough and we need some that's secure. In recent months we've even seen some removed - remember those at the corner of Parliament St/High Ousegate? 🤨.#ActiveTravel.

Questions to be asked of @CityofYork - when will #York see completion of existing projects like Jubilee Terrace, Tadcaster Rd, Acomb and Badger Hill school road safety improvements, and the biggest; Shipton Rd Rawcliffe P&R to Bootham.? #ActiveTravel.
@YorkCycle @transportgovuk @activetraveleng @CityofYork 2023 scheme was for Jubilee Terrace riverside path upgrade which has still not progressed beyond design stage. In 2024 @CityofYork got only revenue funding of £108k which has not been reported as being spent on anything! So £500k while welcome will not go very far even 1 scheme!.
