Out of every 100 high school baseball players: • 7 play in college • 2 play Division I • <1 ever get drafted • 0.02% make MLB The odds don’t care about your dreams — but your HARD WORK can change the odds in your favor. 💯

You can’t control your height. But you can control: Strength Effort Presence That’s what “looking the part” really means.

Cheering your teammates on is great but there’s way more we can do while in the dugout to prepare for our next opportunity. Some will say stuff like this is too much and the dugout is there to “relax” and cheer, which is correct, but if the goal is to be a better competitor,

One baseball and a throwing partner is the price of increasing velocity. Doesn't require thousands of dollars spent at super duper velocity facilities. Throw on a football field. Work to throw it end zone to end zone. Sounds too basic, I know.

HS Baseball Players ⚾️ BELIEVE you're the best player on the field at all times.. don't be cocky but always be confident in your abilities ‼️ It's impossible to be successful at baseball when you're not confident. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF 💯

𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 When myself or any other scout, watches a 3B/SS/2B, we have to prepare that you “may not” get a ground ball in the game. So what do we look for if that becomes the case? Take your GB work from the 1B between inns seriously with a plan!

It’s not up to your parents/friends/coaches to decide how far you go in your sport. Your support system will advise you, guide you & they help hold you accountable, but it’s on you to deliver. Stop making excuses. It’s your responsibility to find time & put in the work! Period.

HS Baseball Players ⚾️ • 7% chance to play after HS • 3% to be a D1 player • Of that 10%, 2% to play pro These numbers should motivate you. HOW bad do you want it? HOW often are you lifting? HOW often are you throwing? How often are you hitting? YOU gotta earn it 💯

Start the school year right. If you are going to quit something, quit: Complaining Blaming others Taking shortcuts Procrastinating Being afraid to fail Doubting yourself Unhealthy habits Focusing on negatives Living in your comfort zone Saying I can’t/I won’t/I don’t Giving up

Understand that just because you can play D1 doesn’t always mean you should. There are a lot of great athletic programs at every level. With so many transfers, go where you are loved, wanted, comfortable & excited. Your athletic career will end; your experience will last forever!

Seniors: Time is running out on your athletic careers. Make sure you soak it in. Think about how blessed you are & make every practice & game count. Tears of joy or tears of regret? How do you want to remember & be remembered? What you put in is what you get back. Make it count!

Commit to making 2024 a great year. Don’t worry about the negatives/things you can’t can’t control. Just focus on improving yourself, one day at a time. Let the results do all the talking. Celebrate the good moments; turn the bad ones into triumphs. 2024 will be what you make it!
