Non parent travel ball coaches deserve a lot of respect and appreciation. Because, they have to actually travel and spend time away from their families to coach other peoples kids, for very little money. Don't expect them to appreciate your excuses as to why your son can't attend

Travel Ball organizations, void of expectations, standards and non negotiables are destroying players. If players aren't required to conform, they learn nothing.

MLB players very rarely, almost never, play feeling 100% healthy. They play through pain, bruises, strains, colds, etc. Amateur Players You have to do the same. Learn to play hurt. Big difference between hurt and injured. Learning to play hurt and sick is part of the process.

Is your coaching and player development model teaching players to dominate a showcase? or Game defining situations vs the equal or better? Is it producing tough, gritty, junk yard dogs that refuse to lose? or Is it producing white picket fence selfish dudes that could care less
