The amount of time that NLB's travel ball coaches spend away from their families to coach other people's kids is extraordinary. They deserve a lot of appreciation. They care about our players enough to set standards, demand effort and accountability. The perform to play.

Players.Your biggest supporters have to be your biggest critics for it to be valuable. You don't need cheerleaders. You need truth tellers.

Don't want to pound the weights?.Don't want to long toss?.Don't want to hit velocity and breaking balls off the machine on a regular basis?.Want to be addicted to velocity but can't pitch a damn lick?.Don't want to work on your defense and base running on a regular basis?.Don't.

The unfiltered truth. The majority of amateur teams don't have a fierce competitor on the roster. But are overflowing with selfish, soft, entitled players that could care less about winning as a team. They're addicted to exposure, attention, leg guards, arm guards, wrist bands.

Would your teammates describe you as a fierce competitor?.Do they think you're overrated, underrated or someone that simply comes as advertised?.Do the fierce competitors in the dugout like sharing the dugout with you?.
