Abundance sucks! Democrats should run instead on awesome popular populist policies like, um, scarcity and high rents and expensive energy. Voters can’t get enough of that!. It’ll be fine probably. The stakes are pretty low right now, ya know?.
Scoop - Pollster Geoff Garin, Brian Fallon & Groundwork Action briefing Dems on one of first deep dives into “Abundance” this week, per memo. They argue economic populism > Abundance in campaigns. Previews econ messaging divisions ahead of 2026:.

We are also extremely opposed to one of these bullet points. Maybe you can guess which one? 😉. Jokes aside, we really enjoyed this essay!
Which of the @NiskanenCenter’s Steve Teles’ Abundance types / Pokémon / star signs are we?. May we humbly submit Progressive Abundance?. (It’s all of the others minus the evil one and sometimes the boring one. Let’s do it! An Abundance of Abundance types!)

We were into building America before it was cool. 😎 . Pretty insane to launch and see one of your missions become the name of a Congressional caucus 7 weeks later! Let’s go Build America Caucus! All glory to @RepJoshHarder @EconDerek @Inclsvabundance! 🙌

It’s hard to explain Abundance vs scarcity when most Americans have never experienced housing Abundance…. But we have experienced an Abundance of coffee/toys/electricity, and we’re about to see how scarcity is a choice that jacks up costs and misery. Thanks, Mr. President!.
The Trump economic policy is to create shortages of everything. Electricity, food, healthcare, building materials, video games, vegetables, booze, and jobs. It is not incoherent at all. They know what they want, and it’s working. They think America is shrinking and should shrink.

"We had actually imposed red tape on ourselves. We had added all sorts of procedures, all sorts of bureaucracies that were not required by law, and those had actually been pushed by corporate interests.".@linamkhan suggests abundance and antitrust go together:
