I support providing additional federal funding for childcare facilities and families. My Providing Childcare for Police Officers Act will provide more flexible options for parents who work irregular hours as police officers.

I recently visited @ymcasandiego and @bgcSanDieguito. I met with parents and staff and learned more about each facility’s programs. We also talked about how difficult finding affordable childcare is and ongoing concerns about federal funding cuts that make this crisis worse.

President Trump continues to attack our veterans and jeopardize their healthcare. This time, ending VA union contracts and taking away the right to organize for a better, safer workplace. I stand with our workers and our veterans in fighting this blatant union busting.

Completely agree, Tim. More than 170 officers were hurt defending our Capitol from a violent insurrection/riot on Jan 6. President Trump pardoned 1,500 people found guilty of assaulting officers & other serious crimes. People who assault officers should face consequences, right?.
