We helped the City of Bellflower with their request for park security infrastructure by securing key federal funds. Last night, we presented them with $870,000 to promote public safety. We will help support local parks and recreation programs and make sure parks serve everyone.

Great news! We've been awarded $97 million for the Long Beach & LA Harbors to expand operations, a huge milestone in the decades-long battle for equitable funding allocation for our port complex. We have been fighting to ensure this critical funding gets redirected to our ports.

has seen its first decrease in homelessness in almost ten years, with youth homelessness cut in half. This is huge, but there's still more work to be done. We'll keep fighting to get federal housing dollars to Long Beach and the region. Well done LBC!
