Everyone should understand that this is a Neocon RUSE to escalate the war. They will offer Putin a deal that is inadequate to current battlefield realities and Russian security concerns, and then will use Putin’s rejection to justify massive new aid for Ukraine.
@DavidSacks A deal requires sticks and carrots. You cannot get a good deal with Putin without threatening more support for Ukraine if he refuses to accept the deal you're offering him.
