This strikes me as a very, very authorized leak. As if the Trump admin, at the highest levels, wants the world, especially Venezuela, to know about it. In other words, it's less exposing a massive covert operation but part of a propaganda campaign to destabilize Venezuela.
Breaking News: The Trump administration secretly authorized the CIA to conduct covert action in Venezuela, according to U.S. officials.

Apartheid Israel treats Marwan Barghouti, known as Palestine’s Mandela, far worse than apartheid South Africa treated Mandela:
🚨’The Hit Is In’ for Marwan Barghouti Freed prisoner Mahmoud al-Ara’dah told Al Araby TV that Marwan Barghouti, the veteran Fatah leader widely seen as a singular unifying political figure, is “the number one targeted prisoner in the system.” He said that “from the moment the

Great question. The reason why it's still a question 25 years later is that Israel or Clinton *never* gave Palestinians with a formal map of their offer. The reason is obvious: a map would show the world that Israel and Clinton were "offering" Palestinians a bantustan state.
@aaronjmate Do you maybe have a map how these Settlement Blocks looked like in 2000? Would Palestine really not be conitguous?

Here's more on how Bill Clinton lied, on Israel's behalf, about Arafat rejecting a generous Israeli-US peace offer in 2000-01. In his memoir, Clinton admits that his "nonnegotiable" peace plan would give Israel enough West Bank land to "hold at least 80 percent of the settlers."

I too was fooled to believe for a long time that the Palestinians were the ones who "did not want to settle". Then I realized it was the exact opposite; even before Netanyahu. Now I feel shame at having being played.
Bill Clinton has repeatedly claimed that, under his watch, Palestinians turned down a “once in a lifetime peace opportunity” for their own state. A new book by Robert Malley, who served as a US peace negotiator under Clinton, adds to a long body of evidence showing this to be a

🚨Israel knew 10 MONTHS ago it would be impossible for Hamas to find all bodies of hostages b/c of Israel's mass destruction of over 90% of Gaza & the giant piles of rubble Israel is now using the difficulty of finding hostages' bodies as a pretext for genocidal starvation,

The ICC “singles out Israel”, Booker claims. The ICC avoided Israel while targeting mostly African leaders until the Gaza genocide made it impossible to ignore. MSNBC should give this podcast a show. They actually represent a Democratic audience.
.@ivehaditpodcast's Jennifer Welch implores Cory Booker, after he refused to call Netanyahu a war criminal, to take the outrage over Gaza seriously. Booker claims he has to go, says the ICC "singles out Israel," and criticizes podcasters for not focusing more on Africa instead.

Hope is action! It is not a word. I just joined Jim Sciutto on CNN International’s The Brief to discuss the latest developments. I spoke about my family. I talked about the “deal.” I TALKED ABOUT DR. ADNAN AL-BURSH. Correction: Dr. Al-Bursh was abducted in 12/2023 and he died

@aaronjmate Easiest way to understand the issue is to contrast Clinton & Carter: Carter correctly identified Israeli rejectionism as the primary problem because he thought Palestinians where full human beings who needed at least a viable state on 20% of their historic homeland to make a

"A day after the cease-fire, no one will remember what is written in that draft. The only thing that will be tested is the blow Hamas suffered." -Ehud Barak, then-Israeli Defense Minister (and former PM), 2012.
BREAKING: Health authorities in Gaza say at least six Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in two separate incidents. Earlier, the IDF said it opened fire after suspects crossed the line of withdrawal and approached forces in the Gaza Strip. https://t.co/BLoAjyGUEx

Yes, but two problems with that: 1) Israel never formally offered Palestinians "the Clinton Parameters." Ehud Barak -- not Arafat -- called off the January 2001 Taba talks where they were discussed. 2) Israel went out of its way to express "reservations" with the Clinton
@aaronjmate Shlomo Ben-Ami said in the SAME interview you cite that while the Camp David offer was not sufficient, the Clinton Parameters months later DID meet the Palestinian needs of a state and was rejected by Arafat. So your own source contradicts your argument. https://t.co/etmWvIIsrk
