Being opposed to abortion, Mark, I'd advise you don't have one. There, sorted. We women though, who supposedly have bodily autonomy, are always being told by MEN what is right for us. Someone who's been raped doesn't need improved childcare & better pay. They need an abortion.

@StrewthQueen
Hello Ella, I was in Peep Show and I'd recommend actually watching before you decry someone's work/writing. You can disagree with someone and still acknowledge they're good at what they do. It is allowed x
Today has been confusing & surprising. Gained quite a bunch of followers (WELCOME ALL!) for simply stating that you can't slate someone's art if you've never even seen it & you can admire a person's past work/writing while not agreeing with their views. WHY DOES THIS NEED SAYING?
@SpursMadDan
@Sillyshib
@caitlinmoran
I think you misunderstand Dan. This is about women' bodies. It's not his or your business. And it takes two to have unprotected sex but not two to carry a child. With respect, you boys can have your opinions, but until you can carry a child, you can also stick them up your arse.
I tweeted about Ray Stevenson who I worked with & have fond memories of but I messed up the grammar as I was slightly distracted. The arsehole who felt the need to chastise me is now blocked. Posting the photo again though as I'm v sad we've lost him. Love to his family & friends
In Feb, in lockdown despair, I wrote the 3rd in my novel series. A scary, funny, historical ghost story set in Southwark around the Crossbones Graveyard. Wrote it in 37 days. Did nothing but write/research/edit all day every day. That book comes out next year. Still amazed.

I met this beautiful man in 2014 and also didn't want the conversation to end. I'm so sad and sorry for Bernard and the family. Much love.
@HoumanBarekat
@Glinner
The lead character in my series spends quite a lot of the time at least slightly bellended. One reader complained they could ‘do without’ all of the drinking. There’s a very easy way of ‘doing without’ something in a novel. Put it down, read a different one & stop bloody whining.
@reece_dinsdale
I'm grateful for absolutely everything these days. Am now shocked at how much time I wasted in the past on 1) Being horrible about my appearance 2) Belittling everything I ever achieved. Negativity can bog off 😂😘
There's a great little shop called Can't Buy Me Love Vintage in N10, London. Jet who runs it sold me these specs last week. Birthday treat to myself. GO THERE AND BUY STUFF, IT'S ACE!
I did the lockdowns pretty much alone. I had walks in the woods as my one escape & comfort. Early on this beauty flew over my shoulder right next to my ear & landed at my feet. I saw him every day. He’s been my pal ever since. Isn’t he gorgeous? ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
@HadleyFreeman
Erm, why are people on here deciding that the writer designs the f*cking make up, prosthetics and costumes of characters in the movies of their books? It's preposterous. I worked on screen for 20 years. It NEVER happens. How embarrassing this shit is.
Me in Grassington yesterday after my fun author event at

. Had an absolute blast plus the village had been sent back in time for filming 'All Creatures Great and Small'. Good times (I got sunburn!) x
@reece_dinsdale
You weren't naïve. People have changed, those who are 'open'. But the money people, those stuck in thought patterns/with hate in them aren't having it & are fighting for the 'old way'. They're going to lose, that's why it's all going mad. A last gasp. They'll lose. Give it time.
I sometimes still rub my eyes & wonder if this is really happening. 2nd in the series out in Feb. I LOVE this cover 😃💜🖤✨Gin Palace by Tracy Whitwell via

You know when a tweet comes at you from nowhere and you make that massive snort sound that's too mental to be a normal laugh? Thank you. Needed that.
@BradfemlyWalsh
I did online dating for a year after breaking up with my son's dad. By the end of it I went out with a mate for a drink, looked them straight in the eye & said 'there's something wrong with the men'. She laughed. I did not.
@sally_hines
@bindelj
It's absolutely clear now that it was no set-up. 4 women and a child complained & you poo-pooed them. The perp is a serial offender under multiple charges. If you defend the indefensible this is what happens. What do you want feminists to take from this now? (Genuine question.)
Big love to you all today. Many folk are feeling weighed down by the constant bad news & bad feelings. Please, find a place/thing/person you love & make a space away from the news/the state of the world/your phone. Do something that makes you smile. You deserve to feel happy XX

last night was the stuff of dreams. Please go there if you can, it's the hub of the town & the people in it are DIAMONDS ❤️❤️✨✨💜🧡
The official day is finally here. Hardback publication of the first in The Accidental Medium series. There've been a lot of potholes & dips in the road. Now it's in the shops, paperback out in July, next one out in December. Couldn't be happier 💜✨Let me know what you think XX
Peep one of our favourite store picks at the moment! The Accidental Medium follows Tanz as she becomes a crime fighting medium with the dead to help her!
Also, Tanz is one of our own, hailing from Gateshead, which we LOVE. 🔮

I GOT A VENUE FOR TOMORROW NIGHT! Another stripped back and very intimate show. It’s my pleasure to do these shows. The ones in Leeds and Kingston were a revelation to me, revealing more about the songs and a different aspect to my performance🖤
This woman (me!) took a toilet selfie at the Royal Albert Hall this week after the joy of watching

& she now needs you to download her naughty book for FREE (ltd offer) to carry on the joy. (And drop a review if you like it 😘😘)
It’s sunny, I have purple ribbons & the absolute horrors who stole billions from us while we were locked in for a year are finally unravelling & eating each other alive. Now go and read one of my books & have a right laugh. Happy Friday. Mwah 😘
@Newsweek
Smirking? Wow. It's easy to see why it was important that this trial was public. The twisting of what's been going on by 'news' outlets is something else. Here's a crazy idea, just report the evidence?! I know, radical as all hell.

after the incredible gig at the Roundhouse last night. Justin Sullivan, the true poet of our times since the 80s, & the rest of NMA, I cannot thank you enough. I managed not to cry until you played 225. So inspired today 💜🧡
For anyone scared that the world is one big mass of domestic and political horror. NO. It isn't. There are wondrous mysteries & places of peace you can find within yourself. There's also magic. Loads of it.
@MichaelRosenYes
Walked into Sainsbury's in Muswell Hill the other day and asked a member of staff where my usual stuff had gone. He said 'They've changed everything' and was as clueless as I was. We both just stood there looking a bit frightened.
@kelly_white_2
Spend my life having my intelligence fucking ransacked daily by corrupt politicians, then come on here & start drowning in people with minds like infants, screaming for scalps & claiming victim-status. How can EVERYONE be a victim? It's exhausting. Anyway, have a nice evening ;-)
Choosing factions on here is knackering. It's possible to engage politely with people you don't agree with, you get that right? In many ways it's vital. Digging deeper to find things that unite us is not a terrible thing. Stop telling people who they can talk to, we're not 12.
@CHIMPSINSOCKS
I don't understand this headline as not only is she bloody gorgeous, she's also completely recognisable. Lillian might just need some glasses.
I will not watch any bulletins read out by any member of our current Tory government. I cannot stand their faces or the sound of their voices. I will not be preached to, cajoled or 'led' by thick, lying crooks. They aren't fit for purpose & can't be trusted to be diplomatic.
@silverpebble
That's so lush. You have to sell these ❤️💜🧡 I'm making some silver today. Viking runes and little magic 'Halfling Stars' for those of us who are partly here & partly 'another place'. It's because of you I can do that. You're brilliant xxx
My author copies arrived and I love them. I wrote this book a while back & decided to re-edit it last month & publish it, as people are so in need of escape, laughter and naughtiness. Available in paperback as well as eBook now, enjoy a dash of FUN

Sam Ryder is talented and lovely. (My autocorrect made him Sam Ryan. Who is this Ryan person?😂) Brilliant night & result. Love & positivity are what the world needs rn & Sam has them both in spades. Congratulations to Ukraine & everyone involved. Beautiful night.
Sad thing about Wetherspoons is a lot of lonely & not rich people go there for something to eat & an affordable pint. Plus a lot of staff will not have jobs any more. Tim Martin will just have slightly less of a giant wedge in the bank, temporarily dented pride & then be fine.
WOOHOO! It's officially 'out there'. I'm being published by Pan Macmillan next year 😁💜🧡Pan Mac bags Whitwell's Accidental Medium series via

See this bullshit here? It can go f*ck itself, as can anyone advocating for it. No-one prepares women for the hell that hits ALL OF US & hormones are key, not chatting. HRT didn't just save me, it saved everyone I would have murdered.
To anyone who has read my book(s) and left a lovely review, you are a bloody legend. Review numbers really count and many of you have been so bloody kind. Thank you thank you thank you.
@reece_dinsdale
So instead of doing actual work, these people look through peoples' Twitter feeds, take a comment and make a whole story up about it? And 'double soap axe'? Contracts end, that 's how it works 😳Bloody idiots.
People need to start acknowledging the trauma that we've been through the last few years & reassessing their mental state. Vitriol/hate are just another form of fear. If you have an immovable, screeching opinion that causes you to lose your shit at strangers, it's a big red flag.
Dear people who only followed me recently. I swear like a sailor. I have a massive vocabulary but I'm rather fond of the curse words. Just so you know ;-)
LOOK WHAT I'M DOING IN GRASSINGTON NEXT TO SKIPTON NEXT WEEK. (Soz I got it a bit wrong the first time) I'll be talking about my spooky, scary funny series & trying really hard not to be naughty. I will not succeed in not being naughty. Come to

Interesting bedtime chat with my 3 year old tonight: “daddy, I had a family a long time ago & my mummy was called Sochi & I was called Anke but then I died & now I’m with your family,” Anyway, if anyone needs me, I’ll be up cleaning the pants I just shat for the rest of the night
The unkindness on this platform really does reach pantomime levels sometimes. If peoples' lives weren't being destroyed for shits and giggles it might even be funny. There has to be nuance in life, questions SHOULD be asked. Disagreement is not hate. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
@mrjimBob
@thetimes
Holy fuck that is so off beam. I saw hundreds & hundreds of bands live at that time (& since) & there was NOTHING jokey about Carter & their work. Wry & witty yes. Eviscerating & truthful. Also yes. Brilliant live? Absolutely kicked arse. What a lazy & inaccurate thing to write.
Politics is trying to destroy what's left of our mental health again. Just remember we're still dealing with a lot of other 'stuff'. Switch off Twitter if it's getting too much. Avoid the news & be in nature if possible. Even for half an hour. & don't forget. You're lovely 🧡💜

Thank you. This has been gnawing at me. I know people who have had every vaccine they were ever offered/told to have but have been worried about this one and haven't had it yet. They're not anti-vax. It's so easy to lump people into negative categories.
TORIES. This is not a game of 'pass the PM'. You've destroyed the country & couldn't be trusted to run a bath. We want a GE & we want you all in the 3rd circle of Dante's Inferno you rotters. (Take anyone who seriously still uses the word 'remoaner' with you as well

OOHHHHH, come and get it, your June Kindle monthly deal - 99p for my book! You'll laugh, you'll be scared, you'll probably feel a bit sexy 😂😉 Come on, we've all had enough of domestic rubbish, get your spooky on!
GIN PALACE by

is one of the wittiest and clever books I’ve ever read!! So much fun! Great story, relatable characters and genuinely unputdownable.…best holiday read in a long time!! (2nd time I’ve read it so it also works on busy Victoria Line!!)

This. Some spooky Geordie wrote it, it's out soon and the second one's not far behind it. She's so stoked she still hardly believes it 😄😉😘💜💥💫
I'm reading books by the lovely folk I met at Newcastle Noir. This is a pitch black jigsaw puzzle of a tale by
@semoorhead
which ramps up the tension & keeps you guessing what's real and what's not til the end (which ruined me because I feel like that anyway). It's a corker.

I LITERALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS A PARODY ACCOUNT. HE FUCKING DESTROYED THIS COUNTRY, BRED HATRED FOR FUN, GAVE BILLIONS OF OUR MONEY TO HIS MATES & NOW HE'S CALLING THE DAY WE TOLD OUR NEIGHBOURS TO COCK OFF 'INDEPENDENCE DAY'. Give me strength. Look how much he makes me swear 🤣
Happy Independence Day folks! Remember Brexit has already helped deliver all kinds of benefits - from new free trade deals to the fastest vaccine roll out in Europe. We are doing things differently - from genomic editing to regulation of financial services. 🧵1/3

My ex was once walking in a rough part of town up north & asked a hard looking bloke his dog's name. The bloke said 'Robert'. This made me chuckle for years.
