I think it's interesting that Twitter's become basically Nazi central, whereas Reddit/Facebook is more left leaning as a whole despite pockets for right leaning resistance. Instagram fairly politically neutral, there is no right/left there, just pretty vs. ugly.

Getting more involved in Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, Facebook has made me realize that the demographics of all these are all over the place and generally don't overlap, even within specific niches within said platforms.

Today I learned about "Elsagate" and it sounds like you shouldn't allow kids to consume media without you present, or something like DVDs with a set start and end. Elsagate was a 2017 scandal when Youtube was serving up bizarre and messed up videos "for kids".
it's really clear to me that MrBeast is using the exact same weird uncanniness that those elsagate videos did to to attract children. It's bizarre and off-putting, and that gets children's attention. There is no other reason for it.
