Congratulations Joanna Smith on being awarded the prestigious @CharlesSturtUni Medal and your pathway to success: โAfter undergoing intensive early speech intervention programs ... she was on track to attend a mainstream school.โ @wespeechies @IcommunicationP @SpeechPathAus
Latest: Charles Sturt University has awarded a Postgraduate University Medal to a school teacher who health professionals thought would never make it to a mainstream school. #CharlesSturtGrad ๐ https://t.co/sUwpmxk6Nb

#Covid19slp Follow and Look back over Tamiโs tweets to see what itโs like working as a speech language pathologist on the frontline for #covid19 #wespeechies #slpeeps
Would you help me get to 500 followers? This feels really vulnerable and I never ask for help (learning how to do this). I am loving the #MedTwitter community. And want to amplify the need for #HealthEquity and #CommunicationAccess.

#WeSpeechies good point Emma. It is the everyday for some. Today I likened 'Zoom' with cameras off (which some students struggle with) to 'School of the Air', an audio experience, distance learning for remote children. Cameras off, or cameras on? Another idea for a @WeSpeechies
@speechieLO And it is some peopleโs every day in regional or rural and remote locations. I always try to remember that and it is so good to research in telehealth too
