Have you ever done a dense grid search over neural network hyperparameters? Like a *really dense* grid search? It looks like this (!!). Blueish colors correspond to hyperparameters for which training converges, redish colors to hyperparameters for which training diverges.

Afraid to say this but I think the only way we find out is by doing. What happens if we treat EEGs as optimal embeddings and fMRIs as the original input? Hold my beer actually. Maybe it's dumb but I'm gonna try this out
