Actually is corporate lobbyist loving, nature hating, Labour together politicians like Chris Curtis who take free trips to Saudi Arabia for property conferences but can’t email his constituents properly that’s fuelling Labour’s woes.
Well worth reading this by Chris Curtis. It’s abundantly clear to anyone that spends a cursory amount of time studying public opinion that economic insecurity - exacerbated 10 fold by the cost of living crisis is the driving political force of our time & fuelling Labour’s woes.

The OG blogger on criminal justice, @Barristerblog, on searing form. The government plans to institutionalise injustice in the magistrates’ courts.
It's not just about juries: the Courts & Tribunals Bill will institutionalise injustice in the Magistrates Courts. https://t.co/Tp66yOm8HS

Joanna is politer than I am going to be. For the Justice Secretary - a former barrister - to suggest that being wrongly accused of a crime and imprisoned for three years is just like “scraping your knee”, should be a resignation matter. @DavidLammy owes the public an apology.
Your local friendly criminal barrister here! 👋 I need you to know that anything up to a three year prison sentence imposed without a jury trial is really not the same thing as scraping your knee without seeing a consultant.

Brexit was sold as sovereignty. But sovereignty means controlling: Energy Water Food Brexit made Britain more dependent on imports, not less. Brexit was a con.
“There’s a strategy in politics right now that relies on making people angrier and more divided.” @OliFletcher on the political forces shaping the current debate. Britain 🇬🇧 is stuck in a cycle of manufactured political division. #BlueLabour
