One of the great beauties of parenting/working with young children is getting to experience the world again, for the very first time. Watch this little guy’s moving response to hearing his first violin.

Every adult in a school or setting is teaching SEL though they might not know it. The list should also have...how we all have bad days and sometimes slip up and don't act as a good SEL role model. But we can explain and say sorry.

Saskia is care experienced and features in our doc. Lived without her brothers for years & is now a social worker. I am up in Manchester doing BBC interviews with her. She’s incredible and represents herself SO well. 👌🏽

“Perhaps most dispiriting, amid a widening gap between advantaged & disadvantaged children, is that the secretary of state thinks tinkering with structures, issuing surveys and fixating on mobile phones are any part of the solution”: my comments @ASCL_UK: https://t.co/XjxjV0CTjj

Neil Gaiman's 'Cinnamon' and Dianne Hofmeyr's 'The Glassmaker's Daughter' make for a great pairing. This Year 4 pupil compared the texts using a double bubble method to support their written comparison.
