An experienced colleague asked me to sign her copy of my book - one of the ‘wins’ is taken from observing her! 😁 Also, one of our ECTs told me she is really enjoying reading it, and lots of my early experiences are resonating with her 👍🏽 So pleased it’s helping other teachers 😊

Is the data around increase in mental health issues in children a concern? Yes The data seems pretty clear, but of course there’s a difference between correlation and causation An enjoyable, worrying and thought provoking read 👏🏽

Finished reading this - there’ll be a variety of opinions, but here are a few of my thoughts: Has play-based childhood reduced? Yes Is a phone-based childhood meaning loss of some emotional skills? Probably Can social media be damaging to unprepared children? Yes, absolutely
