What a day! Left Northumberland at 6:30am, final session of training with some trainee coaches near York and then a drive to Kent! Shattered but had a great time with the coaches. Definitely a food delivery this evening.

Wishing two of my fabulous coaching clients very happy retirements. I have been hugely privileged to work with both of them for the past few years. Both amazing leaders who have achieved incredible things. Enjoy the next chapter @kateowbridge @HeadFrivolous and have the best week.

This all feels lovely. Sat in the garden, watching Wimbledon, bbq on and rosé flowing. Will probably regret it tomorrow morning but sod it.

Had my final FGB and strategy day as Chair of Governors today. Felt strange not putting dates in my diary for next year. It’s been a rollercoaster but I’m leaving full of pride. Governance isn’t always easy but it’s worth it. @westmeadsschool will always have a bit of my heart.

I have been privileged to be Chair of Governors at a superb school for 5 years. My time has come to an end as I’m moving away. I wanted to give them a gift & reading is a huge part of the school so I’ve bought them a lot of books! @ANewChapterBks helped me and sorted out 80 books

I had a really interesting afternoon. I was asked to facilitate a paired coaching walk for two members of staff. It worked well and really showed me how coaching walks are so different to sitting together. Being outside and side by side absolutely shifts the conversation.

It’s contract negotiation season for me. It’s always an anxious time, particularly with school budgets being stretched. I know I’m biased but investing in coaching is worth it! Thankfully most have renewed but I will have some spaces opening in September. Get in touch 🙌.
