If you visit hospital please wear a proper ffp3 respirator. A surgical mask like the ones in the image is far, far less effective for airborne diseases.

Antivirals can be prescribed during the 'flu season if the DHSC declares 'flu is circulating. Stocks are kept high. Given the need for rapid access, it may be worth keeping lateral flow tests at home. Various brands are available. They cost ~£2. 6/

⏱ Rapid access is essential Antivirals work best when started within 48 hours of symptom onset, so you need to contact your GP urgently. NB/ In Scotland, secondary care can also prescribe treatments. Starting later can still help for high-risk groups in certain contexts. 4/

Disagree! I’m a huge covid awareness / long Covid campaigner @covidactionuk @TAC_19_ I hold memorial events every year we remember more with each passing year we look back but also to the here and now. The bereaved know #CovidIsNotOver #COVIDisntOVER
Gina is absolutely right. Reflection is about remembering and moving on but you can’t forget something that still impacts on our lives and kills every day. We need #CleanAir to battle an airborne pathogen, we need #masksinhealth care now.
