My colleague @kamini_gupta_ who is also co-investigator on our project @UKINDTradeTalk gave a great talk last week at @ChathamHouse alongside the Indian High Commissioner @VDoraiswami on India's economy, its enduring challenges, and prospects
Was great to speak alongside the High Commissioner @VDoraiswami @ChathamHouse on the Indian economy yesterday. I spoke about how making our workforce more inclusive, such as in the case of women, can unlock the value of our size and support our economic ambitions.

A brilliant piece by @KingsIndiaInst alumnus @pramit_b explaining the ambiguities of GDP numbers in general, and Indian GDP figures in particular 👇🏼
5 steps to cut through noise around upcoming GDP figures: 1) Apply error bands 2) Use wider error margins for AE/PE/Quarterly estimates 3) Use even bigger error margins for sectoral data 4) Cross-check with other indicators 5) Ignore pt-estimate forecasts https://t.co/0YgCeBIe6C
