WOW! @SteveReedMP has been slapped down by the UK Statistics Authority for falsely claiming on multiple occasions that Scotland's water is dirtier than England's. Will he apologise for misleading the House? https://t.co/xuDqEcR97k

🔥Thanks to Stephen Gethins for the support. “Mr Gethins told The Courier: “Local firefighters in Dundee and the rest of the community have shown a level of humanitarianism and thought for those affected by war. Their efforts deserve to be commended.” 🔥🚒👇

LATEST: Douglas Alexander has suggested Labour would allow a second Scottish independence referendum, stating that the UK Government would 'take seriously' any SNP majority come next year’s Holyrood election

So it looks like @theSNP majority in next year’s Scottish Parliament elections will mean an Independence Referendum. Good to see the Prime Minister turning up just in time to hear the Secretary of State confirming that.
"'If there's an SNP majority, it's got to be looked at in Westminster'. Who said that?" The SNP's @StephenGethins asks Scottish Secretary Douglas Alexander about the mandate for another independence referendum.

This remains as true today as it did 7 years ago. Even more so after Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine. Brexit remains a strategic win for Putin and staying outside the EU leaves the UK more vulnerable & isolated than ever.
By far the biggest impact UK could have on Russia would be to reverse Brexit, because (whether or not they influenced the vote) it is a massive geo-political win for Russia to hive of UK from EU.

Farage is still repeating Putin's key argument that the eastward expansion of NATO and the EU caused the war. Either you believe the countries of eastern Europe are sovereign and free to choose their own destiny or you don't. Farage thinks Putin should have a veto on their future
***EXCLUSIVE*** Nigel Farage tells Bloomberg that if he led Britain he: — would support shooting down Russian fighter jets entering NATO airspace — use frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine — may even put British troops on the ground there as part of a UN peacekeeping force — he

I have to do another thread about this because there is so much dishonesty and really sick spin coming from an element of Labour. 1/13

Hugely important Scottish Government funding which ensures more primary school children get a healthy start to the day. Bright Start Breakfasts also provide families with childcare, which allows parents to get to work in the morning.
Breakfast clubs help thousands of kids start the day with a nutritious meal. Thanks to £3 million from @scotgov, there are now 142 new clubs and 348 expanded services. Social Justice Secretary @S_A_Somerville visited one of the new clubs in Dunfermline. #ChallengePoverty

Young people with British passports have fewer rights than those of any other Western European state - & fewer rights than the generations who went before them enjoyed. For what?
The entire framing of this poll totally forgets to appreciate a youth mobility scheme gives our young freedoms to work and travel in European countries. https://t.co/meIBeoJBPq

The UK is heading down a dangerous & isolated path in flirting with leaving the European Convention on Human Rights. There is a space for the SNP to seize the ground of multilateralism and respect for the rules based system -
