As Chancellor he delivered the utility windfall tax to fund youth unemployment; minimum wage; tax credits; halved child poverty as opposed to SNP increasing it, hugely reduced pensioner poverty....SNP increased debt for the least well off students.....I know whose record I prefer
The problem with Brown is that he deliberately did nothing when he was in power , then cynically delivered nothing in the “Vow” (allegedly agreed with others in power) and now can do nothing for the foreseeable future because Labour is completely out of power - and so is he.
