Funny enough, Superman is the one superhero that Garth Ennis actually likes. Hell, one of Hitman’s character traits is that he admires Superman. And not even in a mocking sarcastic way, just a genuine “wow, he’s so cool” kind of way.
It’s kinda funny that the two biggest Evil Superman books prior to Injustice both end by going “Superman could never be evil. You idiot. You fucking moron”

You don’t have to be the most pretentious or prove that you understand the character more than everyone else. Sometimes, you just want to make a movie where Batman fights the Predator. And that’s ok.

Cool. I have my own personal opinion as well.
I just think Spider-Man 2 at the end of the day, is a standard open world game. Nothing wrong with it, but it is standard.
While the other games feel unique and interesting, stories that can only be told through that medium.
