Found an iPhone on the side of the road. Still in airplane mode with half a battery and open to a baggage claim for #AlaskaAirlines ASA1282 Survived a 16,000 foot drop perfectly in tact!. When I called it in, Zoe at @NTSB said it was the SECOND phone to be found. No door yet😅

Just because so many are reaching out:. I'm going to do one interview with KPTV tomorrow morning to show them where I found the phone. Other than that, I'm not going to make a whole media tour over finding a lost cell phone 😉.

In case you didn't see it, there was a broken-off charger plug still inside it! Thing got *yanked* out the door.(Sorry I didn't get a better pic before handing it over haha)

@RobHinged @NTSB I tried to make a point of this when I talked to the reporter today. The odds of finding *something* in the area are pretty high. The odds of landing in something soft are high. The incredible luck was that it wasn't further into the woods. Statistical swiss cheese 😅.

I got carried away reading through Shatter City and couldn't help thinking that it would be really handy to shift my mental state with the push of a button. I mean, I have meds that can handle a few of these, but a button would be so much better 🤔. @ScottWesterfeld

@thegoodgodabove This is normal for Idaho. You should have seen them when they were debating whether or not to make child marriage illegal. (Spoiler alert: they shot it down, and it's still very legal).

Update!! Cuong Tran got his phone back!! . Cuong just did an interview with @KTLA . He was seated right behind the Door Plug and his shoe got ripped off his foot (OUCH) . Thanks @AlaskaAir for helping me get his phone back to him 🥰.

Does someone have a map of all the reported debris so far? I know the location(ish) of the door and 2 phones. Definitely looking forward to going on another walk in those neighborhoods once the weather settles down 🥰. (there are still plenty of items to recover)

@JimmySnowTSS Most people I've known who left the church did so because their worldview became too incompatible with the morality and values being taught inside the church. or at least one of the critical contributing factors. I haven't run into *too* many who remained hard conservatives.

Caught one of @trimet 's new Type6 MAX trains doing some burn-in 😁. Having a driver cab at both ends means these guys can safely run solo, but it also means we don't get to have my favorite gallery seats. The blue/orange paint scheme is growing on me though!

The fact that most of us didn't even know this was a thing that *could* fall off a plane is a testament to how unlikely this event was. Add this item to your routine maintenance checklist and then get them back up in the air. I'm not going to be afraid of flying 737s.

@Ritesh19123 @NTSB "Every inch" is a bit of a stretch, especially given the dense wooded areas in the space below the flight path. Their priority would be finding the pieces of the aircraft that failed and caused the accident (the door, in this case). They prefer to catalog everything found.

@jessiejensen The last time missionaries tried to talk me into coming back to church, I mentioned that my kid was trans and they just said "Oh. what are their pronouns?" .After a couple more minutes they sadly gave up and left because they know there's nothing they can do about it.
