(12/12) In conclusion, we showed that in #glioblastoma #gbm the T_SVZ represents a distinct microenvironment characterized by a mesenchymal signature & tumor-supportive microglia. We identified 2 pathways, IL-1β/IL-1RAcP & Wnt-5a/Frizzled-3, as T_SVZ-specific therapeutic targets

(11/12) Specifically, in vitro treatment of cancer stem-like cells with IL-1β and the anti-IL-1RAcP fully-humanized monoclonal antibody Nidanilimab significantly reduces cell proliferation. Moreover, treatment with Box5, a Wnt-5a antagonist, significantly decreases cell invasion
