It is with a heavy heart that I hear Bela Nova passed away. So heartbreaking. Bela’s pioneering research and huge contributions influenced so many. I was lucky to know him - his sharp mind, wit, humour and kindness will be missed. My condolences to his family, mentees and friends.
In memory of Professor Béla Novák (1956–2025), a pioneering systems biologist whose work shaped our understanding of cell cycle dynamics. His legacy in mathematical modeling and biology will continue to inspire generations.
