Great post. We clearly state most of this information to candidates, but I’m often surprised we don’t get further clarifying questions.

When Type 2 diabetes is 90-95% of all diabetes cases . AND. Up to 90% of T2D can be prevented or delayed with lifestyle (diet and exercise) changes . You’ve got to wonder why we aren’t prescribing / funding this more aggressively.

Took me awhile to adopt this. Repeating yourself feels cringe until you realise the message may have been said but it hasn’t been heard.
If you're leading a team, remember:. - 90% of your team didn't hear you the 1st time.- 50% didn't hear you the 3rd time.- 10% never will. Clear communication requires repetition. When you're sick of saying it, they start to hear it.
