We are very happy with the award! š.
The moment we've all been waiting for! š. š Awarded our top post of 2024 is work led by Dr. @Gilglioni1 at @STMLab_ULB. It underscores the role of PTPRK in the metabolic reprogramming of hepatocytes induced by obesity.

Here we found that PTPRK expression is increased in #obese human and mouse livers. Elevated hepatic expression of PTPRK triggers enhanced glycolysis, culminating in PPARγ activation and de novo lipogenesis. @ULBRecherche.
