Well I guess I'm just going to need to get better at keeping all my python packages playing nicely together. no worries I'd gotten too lazy. @anacondainc terms and conditions aren't playing so nicely with academic insitutions it seems.

Anyone been using the large (e.g. 20 mm) @Thorlabs galvos and can comment on flatness? . Any better options for a large aperture 1D scanner with high flatness? Can sacrifice some speed. no problem.

Delighted to have this finally out with @nicola_gritti and @huiskenlab. IR light sheet provides better deep tissue contrast in fixed samples. Deep learning allows fixed (IR) data quality in live (GFP) samples.

Great work from Robert Prevedel's lab on mesoscopic OPM for imaging freely behaving animals.
We’ve joined the #OPM community! Our latest preprint describes an open-top, dual-objective OPM optimized for ‘mesoscopic’ FOVs >1.5mm that’s capable of imaging behaving Nematostella with cellular resolution. Great collaboration with @AissamIkmi @embl .

Any OPM/optics folks have a view on this paper?. Seems to violate conditions for remote focusing for reduced O2-O3 tilt. Is strict adherence overkill at low NA?. @florianstroehl @RetoPaul @AndrewGYork @amsikking @JamesDManton @adam_k_glaser.

The proposed mesoscopic scanning OPM allows using low NA objectives such that centimeter-level FOV volumetric imaging can be achieved. With the extended FOV, simple sample mounting protocol, and the...
