Read your blog. Well informed & excellent analysis on the unnecessary risk to which we’re exposed. You’re an unsung hero for all, & especially voiceless elders. Elders who have contributed to build what we have. Please don’t stop sharing through as much media as possible. Ty.
Someone very close to me, just 44 years old, has a blood clot in the heart, a condition which may have been brought on by COVID infection. A big F*** you to all the so-called health officers who have chosen to let this virus run rampant.
My beautiful Mom passed today at 86. Beloved by her own eight children and their fathers, the many foster children she cared for well into her 70s, the people down on their luck to whom she opened her home and her heart, the animals she loved and protected. Rest in peace, Mom. 💔
My heart is truly broken. 15 years after he was born in my home, cancer struck, and today I had to say a tearful goodbye to my old friend. He was my constant companion, the most affectionate, gentle pet one could ever ask for. RIP Elvis. 💔
Deadlier pandemics shall surely come. The most ominous lesson of this one is not that our leaders have proven themselves unable to protect us. It is that they have proven themselves unwilling to protect us.
Grade 6 my classmate Amber was bullied relentlessly. Kids touched her, then passed on "Amber germs." One day the teacher sent her on an errand, then read us the riot act, made all of us feel like absolute shit. The bullying stopped immediately. I'll never forget that teacher.

Apparently you don’t understand the meaning of “woman” or “man.” Check your facts. Because I feel a bit sorry for you, I’ll get you started. A woman is an

The most shocking thing to me right now is casting aside any pretext of protecting (vulnerable) hospitalized people from nosocomial covid. It’s a full on betrayal of the Hippocratic oath, in my view. It’s shameful.
The reaction of BC's so-called experts was "let's pretend this does not exist."
@PennyDaflos
covers the stubborn refusal to accept scientific evidence that is making BC health authorities an international embarrassment.
@keithbaldrey
must be mortified.
Indeed. George Orwell understood this. While working on my MA degree, I can't tell you how vindicated I felt when I discovered this statement after struggling through many hours of postmodernist bullshit that was required reading.
This story must be read to be believed. LTC providers told by VCH Deputy Chief Medical Health Officer Mark Lysyshyn not to test LTC staff without symptoms because they don't want to find a bunch of cases!
It's all about saving tests. Saving lives? Meh.
Hats off to

@RobShaw_BC
who have shown more interest in scornfully dismissing these conscientious professionals than in protecting their readers, the people of BC.

And while your interviewer expressed disapproval of your “extreme views,” she seemed quite happy to hear the views of a known apologist for pedophilia. In her book he was the “civilized” one while you were an uncivilized extremist who had to be shut down. Oh, the irony.
What the “with COVID, not of COVID” crowd, including Henry and Dix, don’t mention: many people die months after having COVID due to damage sustained while they had it. In effect, they die of COVID, not with COVID.
1) Unbelievable! LTC provider who found 14 staff cases with rapid tests and was told to stop using them on staff w/o symptoms: "you don’t want to test asymptomatic staff because you don’t want to find a bunch of cases. Please clarify that this is correct.”
Patients infected with a highly contagious airborne disease forced to share rooms with the uninfected. Diagnostic tests refused. Family members told they must come in to feed their loved ones because hospitals are too short-staffed. Welcome to Third World Health Care, Made in BC.
I'm 67 today. When you hear people say, "you're not getting older; you're getting better," tell them they're full of shit. This getting old isn't for sissies.
OK, so you think vaccines are secretly killing millions but being pushed as part of a plot to depopulate the earth, and mask mandates and contact tracing apps are meant to control us and take away all our rights, but *I’m* the one who’s “living in fear”? 🤣
"Nearly half of those surveyed in Canada believe journalists are purposely trying to mislead them by making statements they know are false or exaggerated; 52% think news outlets are more concerned with supporting an ideology than informing the public."
@LizaYuzda
How do you feel about people who have over a million rapid tests that they are not using and are giving them out piecemeal instead of giving them to anyone who needs them? People like Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix, for example. Are you judging them harshly?
Signs at my Mom’s care home say that because some people there are allergic to it we’re not allowed to bring in any food containing shellfish, as it may be —wait for it—airborne! I kid you not. Never has a sign about airborne COVID been seen there, but shellfish…
In BC if you die of COVID over 30 days after your 1st infection, it’s not reported as a COVID death. Reinfections don’t count when our lying health authorities report either cases or deaths. In New Zealand they are honest about cases, deaths and the risks of repeated infection.
Every time you catch COVID-19, your risk of other severe issues starts to rise.
Research is starting to show that with reinfection, your chance of serious issues such as diabetes, mental health issues, and chronic fatigue goes up.
Positive lines on her rapid tests are still thick and dark but b/c she’s had COVID for 5+ days and symptoms have decreased, G/F told she must come to work even though her job can be done online. After all this time they still don’t understand how transmission works.
#fireBonnie
I did a rapid test on Friday. The result was negative. Should I report it to BCCDC and have Bonnie use it to support her "low yield" argument? I think not.
I visited my mom's care home feeling pretty sure I wouldn't start an outbreak there. I call that a damn good yield.
At the next election
#bcndp
must be banished to the political wilderness for multiple failures to protect the people of BC and for their relentless deceitfulness, secrecy, hypocrisy and arrogance. Until last election I voted for that party my whole life. NEVER AGAIN!

“I’m working very hard, thinking,” I heard Henry tell Jas Johal today, about how she can keep us all safe from monkey pox, COVID and influenza. She’s trying to be “proactive,” she said. I laughed and laughed… then I turned off the radio in disgust.
Another 15 British Columbians died, but kind Dr. Bonnie puts it in “perspective,” comforting us by pointing out that most were over 70 and died in hospital.
Reign of Error
This thread will explore the endless errors, evasions, obfuscations, insincerity and incompetence of Bonnie Henry. Please feel free to respond publicly or DM me if you wish to contribute useful and accurate information. Sources are helpful.
So if a child gets it at school, infects an adult but remains asymptomatic, chances are the child will never be tested, the chain of transmission will never be traced back to school, and Public Health liars will keep claiming that schools don’t contribute to the spread.
“…the efficient transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from school-age children and adolescents to household members led to the hospitalization of adults with secondary cases of Covid-19.”
When you're almost 70 with COPD, you don't want to risk getting COVID, vaccinated or not. Big thanks to all the unmasked selfish pricks who expect others to live under virtual house arrest indefinitely while they enjoy their "freedom" to help keep the pandemic alive forever.
Farnworth takes a shot at Twitter b/c he, like Henry, is stung by the valid criticisms voiced here. For a long time Twitter was almost the only place where such criticism was heard. Until now the Minister of Public Safety has largely escaped it somehow. Time to rectify that.
I'm now fully Pfizered.
Anti-vax wingnuts say metal objects will soon stick to me and gov't will be able to track my every move.
Gov't seems to think I'll be virtually invulnerable to COVID.
I believe neither.
I called in to Ian Hanomansing’s show today. Talked for quite a while with an aide who said they’ll call back if they want me to speak on air. What do you think my chances are? Slim or none? 🤣
Had to be rapid tested on entry to Mom’s LTC. 3 strapping nurses came out to do it. My God, the resources that were consumed! As if. Nurse gave me the kit and I did it myself, bing, bang, boom. Bonnie is so full of shit.

“How does the CEO of BC Ferries get fired for a few cancelled sailings, but [BC’s] health minister keeps his job while people die waiting…in overwhelmed emergency rooms?” Rob Shaw finally writes something worth reading.

@MicaSaurius
Ah, showing your true face again. The face of an egotistical, inconsiderate, selfish, bullying lout. If a senior citizen with health issues about which you have no idea tried to enter the elevator wearing a mask, would you forcibly prevent him from doing so?
ToadyJody Vance on CKNW: your home is the most dangerous place for catching COVID, so move your Christmas dinner to a restaurant. They have plexiglass!
Heard a clarification on CKNW today re BC’s ban on New Year’s Eve parties. Apparently it only applies to parties with dancing and mingling. Are there parties at which people don’t mingle?
The "pandemic of the unvaccinated." This catchphrase will be used to blame the unvaccinated not only for their own illness or death but also for that of others who contract COVID. Leaders who relaxed precautions prematurely will, as usual, accept no responsibility at all.
Bonnie once said only sick people needed masks as they protect others but not wearers. Now she says immuno-compromised people can wear them if they like. Why? To protect healthier people who don’t wear them? She still says an N95 is no better than a “quality cloth mask”!
My brother’s stepdaughter had a boyfriend whose truck was decorated with a very large “F*** Trudeau” sign. My brother told him he could not park the truck in his driveway until it was removed. 👍
@DeanaL
To no one’s surprise a VCH comms person is spreading misinformation again. All who are fully vaccinated are doing fine? Tell that to the ones in the hospital. You only get it from people you know? How absurd.
"Horgan’s NDP government won’t say it officially, but a recent article...makes it obvious he’s given the forest industry the green light to liquidate much of the remaining old-growth timber in B.C. and cash in on current high lumber prices."
I'm triple-vaccinated and obviously pro-vaccine. Am I the only one in such a position who finds this deeply disturbing? Why does the right side of this chart look worse than the left overall? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
#NoSilverBullet
It’s not just a rumour, my friends. “B.C. has thrown out more than 650,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, or about five per cent of the 12 million doses received from the federal government…”
Yaneer Bar-Yam has been "early and right about masks, travel bans and [aerosol transmission]... 'Success in a pandemic is not waiting for a vaccine. It’s about using an arsenal of tools, including vaccines, to defeat the virus while we have the chance.'"
My sister took our disabled younger brother to Gastown today. Guess who they saw in the Fluevog store? She needs more $400 shoes apparently. Aren’t you pleased that from your tax dollars we pay this useless woman $30,000 per month to live in such style?

were the first so-called journalists to attack

for her efforts to do so by speaking the truth about their idol.
"survivors [of the initial infection] had an almost 60% increased risk of death over the following six months compared with the general population... 'later deaths due to long-term complications...are not necessarily recorded as deaths due to COVID-19.'"
@sometherapist
My politics have always been more left than right. I can think of only one explanation for the left embracing this bizarre ideology: the constant need of many leftists to regard themselves as noble champions of the oppressed. To satisfy this need, they have become the oppressors.
The outbreak at my mom's care home in Mission has been declared over. Not that I trust Fraser Health as far as I can throw them, but it's still good news. My heart aches for those who have not been so fortunate. Mom's still looking pretty good at 84.
"Randy Bell was arrested, handcuffed and escorted out of the Bulkley Valley Credit Union on Friday afternoon for refusing to wear a mask inside, according to a video he posted on Facebook." Hats off to Smithers RCMP and Solicitor-General Mike Farnworth!
Oh my God, we've waited so long for a question like this in the BC legislature. "My question is to the Minister of Health. In light of this information, how can we trust his word and the word of the provincial health officer?" Thank you,
@SoniaFurstenau

Two powerful women in jurisdictions of 5 M people. One's presided over 1,983 deaths and now faces about 5,937 active cases, the other over 27 deaths with 308 active cases. Guess which woman is having a "fall" and which jurisdiction is "headed for disaster," according to BC media?
@60sPsychJukebox
Assuming this is a true story, Paul comes across as a nice fellow for supporting a friend and also as a bit of a dick for giving her a lecture while doing it.
86 tests done yesterday in Northern Health. Yes, 86. For a population of over 300,000 people. Disgusting. Testing should be ramped up to determine whether relaxing restrictions is safe. BC leaders determine that it is and suppress testing to justify their claims to that effect.
When BC’s true death toll is finally revealed, a lot of people will need to explain how they could so stupidly believe that BC, which did less than almost anywhere else in Canada to prevent transmission, was somehow magically protected by a Sunday-school slogan.
How long before BC stops reporting COVID deaths, even if 2-300 people or more are still dying monthly from it? They don't tell us regularly about flu or other deaths after all. Would you be surprised? Will that be the next stage of "let's all pretend the pandemic is over"?
Henry has a 24-hour security detail at work and home due to death threats she's allegedly received. BC seniors didn't get death threats or paid security. They got death. Evidently there was no money to pay for rapid tests or timely boosters that might have saved their lives.
One of Canada's top epidemiologists sets Twitter ablaze by saying that Dr. Henry has been wrong on many crucial issues. Not one BC reporter asks about it. Pathetic.
"Penny Ballem [head of BC's] vaccination campaign, charged taxpayers $405,000 last January through September" despite botching the rollout of booster doses for seniors in long-term care, leading to more preventable deaths. $45,000 per month. Disgraceful.
When I came to Twitter in May 2020 I was one of very few dissenting drops in an ocean of the brainwashed by Bonnie. Now a small army of well informed, dedicated critics are here every day saying what so urgently needs to be said. Keep fighting the good fight, my friends!
Have I missed it? Over a year into the pandemic, has any BC media outlet hired an actual science reporter? Why do they still rely on legislative/political reporters who know next to nothing about science and consequently swallow gov't propaganda whole? A major media failure.
@EdtheSock
Most of what are euphemistically called “trans rights” are actually unmerited privileges that, when granted, violate the rights of non-trans people, especially women and girls. The issue will not be settled until sanity returns and such injustices are ended.
Well into his 80s, my dad said to me, “At my age, Ron, you go to a lot of funerals.” Sadly, when his time came, due to COVID there was no funeral to go to. RIP, Dad.
Well done, Bill.

NZ success "almost entirely due to isolated geography and population size"? Nonsense. NZ acted more effectively, more quickly, more wisely than the US and most places in the world. So did non-isolated Vietnam, bordering China, population 97 million.
Henry wants to "get it down to a level where we are having milder illness in younger people and not having our hospitals whelmed as they are right now." Normal people don't talk this way. I feel some vitriol coming on.
Remember the days when if you posted anything critical of
#BonnieHenry
hordes of her fans would appear to attack you? Is it just me or have those hordes vanished into the mist?
"That's an urban myth that there's millions of rapid tests in a warehouse somewhere," says Bonnie. Today's data from PHAC: almost 3.4 million received by BC, less than 1.3 million distributed. Over 2 million are warehoused somewhere in BC.
@LisaCordasco
The people who've been calling her a liar for almost 2 years are starting to look pretty good these days, and those who've let her lie with impunity for almost 2 years, that is, most of BC's media, are starting to look like extremely slow learners... at best.
There are more than 1.3 million unused rapid tests in British Columbia, according to the Ministry of Health. And they are indeed sitting in a warehouse.
Henry: “it’s the hand that we’ve been dealt.”
@SoniaFurstenau
: "We were not dealt a bad hand. We loosened restrictions despite rising variant cases, allowed out-of-province travel, stalled in-school mask mandates and did not enforce orders..."
Later, my friends. Taking mom out for dinner, a nice break from life in the care home. Fortunately, she's had both shots and I've had the first. A photo from happier days before COVID.
We need a moderator to enforce a 2-minute rule on answers by Henry and Dix, and someone like
@NeetuGarcha
to interrupt frequently to say, “Just answer the f***ing question, please!”
Why do reporters ask 2-3 questions in one? Just makes it easier for her to ramble and evade. Ask one very specific question, twice if necessary. If she evades it write about it: “Dr. Henry refused to answer...”
Remember when New Zealand was "likely headed for disaster"?
NZ just reported 34 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Hello, Keith. The disaster is here, and it is terrible. Cat got your tongue these days?
With a tip of the hat to

An average of one year after their recovery...COVID-19 survivors had a 63% higher risk for heart attack...52% higher risk of stroke, a 72% higher risk of heart failure... nearly 3 times higher risk of a potentially fatal blood clot in the lungs.
This is how change happens, led by individuals who have the courage of their convictions and are brave enough to step out alone. At least one doctor employed by BC Public Health has shown himself willing to risk offending the powers that be. Others will be inspired to follow.
"Some news reports about the leaked documents indicate the province has been 'hesitant' to release the data. That’s untrue. Closer to the truth is that it has been 'deliberate' in choking the supply of information."
Which genius manager of BC mainstream media decided that legislative/political reporters were the logical choice to provide most of the coverage and ask most of the questions regarding a pandemic? Has any BC MSM outlet hired a reporter with a science or health background?

“[Every worker] was tested [daily]..prior to going to work… We continued to isolate [infected] staff for ten days, we didn't follow with the advice of the province [5 days].. we had staff who tested positive after five days." Key line: “we didn’t follow..”
