A big thank you to @CHazelgroveMP @JimBethell @NavPMishra + @BambosMP for joining us in Parliament today to discuss how we can develop a world-class plasma for medicine service. Thanks also to our charity partners @gaincharity + @ImmunoUK, as well as colleagues from @NHSEngland.

The focus was on Ross who is likely to have his recovery curtailed before he is ready. This is happening a lot at the moment and is a big worry for folk with complex recoveries from conditions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome

Did some TV the other day. It was on last night but I only featured very briefly. It was about time restrictions on Neuro rehab services in the North-East of England which are really impacting people.

Haven’t been on here for a while. Just popping on to say I write a thing ⬇️
What did our Rich think about the #Budget24, its impact on people, an what it means for GAIN and the community sector? Have a read at https://t.co/ZPhidjoP63

Really pleased to hear @TheSHCA talking about accessing data from the NHS. I have been shouting about this since I joined @gaincharity and we could do with raw (anonymous) data as well as dashboards. You never know we may actually be able to do some good work with it

Well that’s gone cold… again. A call out to fellow community sector CEOs, when was the last time you actually got to finish, or even start a cup of tea? #CharityCEO

First day at the @gbscidp European Workshop and we are starting off by highlighting issues across all countries and regions. Lots of similarities and themes cropping up around diagnosis, ongoing support, and lack of knowledge amongst physicians

I wrote a thing about why it’s good to talk to people
Our Chief Executive @Rich_Collins has been on his own in the office for two weeks. He has spent the vast majority of time on the phone, answering emails, and returning messages and WhatsApp's. So what did he learn? Find out by reading his blog at https://t.co/YAAHSDkeCr

Here is our @Rich_Collins with a little reminder about why he is completing #MyNeuroSurvey. To complete it go to - https://t.co/KkUdTCcZZY

Cracking opportunity to come work with me at @gaincharity. If you are a #Marketing 💫 in a #Charity role then have a look or drop me a DM. And please share and lets reach as many people as possible. People with lived experience of inequality more than welcome
GAIN are hiring. We support people impacted by Guillain-Barré Syndrome and other related conditions. We are in a period of development and are looking for a bright and bold #MarketingExecutive to support our #communication and #engagement.

Ngama has been in the UK since she was 11. She can't return to Cameroon where homosexuality is illegal. GB Boxing backed her visa application, to no avail. Heartwarming that the Refugee team has won a medal, heartbreaking how her story reveals the cruelty of the UK refugee system
Cindy Ngamba's name gets etched in the Olympic record books. @CindyNgamba beat French Davina Michel to reach the 75kg boxing semi-finals, becoming the first ever athlete from the IOC @RefugeesOlympic Team to secure an Olympic medal. Read more: https://t.co/hMZuBIZlof (Photo

I've completed this (through my lived experience of MS) & suggest that anyone else with a neurological condition should complete it as well. The more of us that do, the better levels of data and information (and evidence) that we have to work with @NeuroAlliance #GBS #CIDP
1 in 6 people have a neurological condition, including #GuillainBarreSyndrome. That’s why we’re supporting @NeuroAlliance #MyNeuroSurvey. Share your experiences & improve care for people affected by neurological conditions. https://t.co/u4oAcV6SeC
