Hi yes, I was part of this march. Thanks for the publicity!
500 communists are currently marching through Philadelphia. 0 media outrage. https://t.co/XKHonJQZHl

Oh boy, I can't wait to hear Yanis Varoufakis, a man who very famously failed to beat reactionary capitalists tell me the "only way we can win" against reactionary capitalists!

I genuinely think "pizza is mid" might be one of my most controversial opinions, but here I am saying it with my full chest. I'd get rid of pizza. It's mid. I've never had a slice that really blew me away.

I can confidently say I'm the only person I know who's crazy enough to spend hours typing an 11,000-word article because I don't want to redo the formatting when I pasted it. I did copy/paste other stuff today, just decided a 20-page article sounded fun to type out manually.

People really need to learn the difference between the leadership of a party/union and its rank-and-file membership.

That roughly coincided with Covid and BLM, and I went straight from somewhere between social democrat and democratic socialist to revolutionary. But I've believed that the basics of life should be free since I was, like, 18. Since then the horizon has broadened, obviously.

Tbh I overthink why I became a communist a bit. The reason is very simple. One of my core beliefs, something I've held for over a decade, is that nothing someone can die without should cost them money. One day I realized that this is impossible under capitalism, and that was it.

It still tickles me that the literal translation of What Is To Be Done is "What To Do," because it sounds like placeholder mumbling from an old NPC. It's also close to "What Do" and I love the idea of Lenin walking into the 2nd RSDLP Congress like "what doing?"

There are, depending on the poll, between 30 and 40 million self-described communists in the US, 18-20 million of whom are under the age of 30. The working class is the overwhelming majority of society. We're not outnumbered, we're out-organized.

Couple notes: 1. This is yet another exhibit of why the Democrats are a dead-end for organizing. 2. One of the basic demands of a workers' state is the right of the people to immediately recall any elected official. No need to make calls or wait until the next election.
SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates. The cave almost happened Thursday, AFTER the election. https://t.co/KVLxiZqlaY

Hopping in a couple days after the fact to reiterate that every single malding reply just proves her point that the ruling class hasn't forgiven the Bolsheviks for their victory and can't forgive them. The workers and peasants of Russia set the standard; we need to follow it.
108 years ago today, the Russian revolution changed the world! Lenin and the Bolsheviks achieved the IMPOSSIBLE and the ruling class have never forgiven them. YOU SHOULD BE A COMMUNIST.

The Provisional Government wasn't elected, nor was it "leftist-led." It was reactionary and imperialist, and the people of Russia wanted to overthrow it for quite a while before it finally fell.
BTW friendly reminder that Lenin overthrew a democratic, leftist-led government to establish his fringe group as the uncontested leadership
