I just got off the phone with the VA. About 2 weeks ago they asked me if I was tested for Covid or if I wanted to be test. I said no.
Well, somehow I was tested over the phone and now I have the COVID-19 virus. I was instructed to self isolate and get retested 2 weeks.

Every Male in my family has served in the military at one time or another.
My earliest memories of my Great Grandfather was him telling me of the War to end all wars.
My dad served in WW2 and Korea. I served in Vietnam and my youngest son is in Afghanistan.

I was in-country at the ripe old age of 17. My platoon leader was 25 and we referred to him as the old man.
Pops was 2 years older than him.

Being from Nebraska I can agree on that.
Nebraska farmers and ranchers don't want subsidies we want a fair market and playing field to put our products against any in the world.
American ranchers are being screwed over. They don’t get subsides and they don’t want subsidies. All they want is a fair playing field and country of origin labeling. Why isn’t Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue listening!?

The pilots were some of the most courageous group of men who I had the pleasure of hitching a ride with.

I owe my life to the nurses and doctors that took care of me after my 3rd wound in Vietnam.
I used to tell my kids that I was wounded 3 times, died twice and received one purple heart.

I was wounded 3 times, given 'last rites' 2 times and only received 1 purple heart.
I did receive the silver star and other awards.
I just want to know what he recieved his purple heart for and if he put himself up for it.
