Yeah, we need to talk about the President doing exactly what the majority of voters wanted her to do.
We need to talk about the presidency. Nobody wants to do so. Not the government. Not the opposition. Not most of the media. Not those on the right. And certainly not those on the left, at least not while they agree with the views of the office holder.

Also, social media has given people more of a voice, which has amplified the perception that buses "never turn up" (the L2 turns up almost 95% of the time). I don't recall its predecessor, the 84, being hugely reliable. It was one of the main reasons why I learned to drive a car.

It's all about perspective. And if you're as far to the right as David Quinn, then it's only natural that everybody else (even Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael) would appear left-wing. Quite apart from that, is the Green Party really that far to the right of Labour?
We already have a left-wing government in power under the disguise of @fiannafailparty and @FineGael.

To give an example, I had my full car licence for over ten years when I applied for a bus driving job. I applied in June 2018, started in October that year, passed the test in November, and drove a bus in service for the first time in late December. There is no fast-tracking.

Seems to be a lot of misinformation going around. Since the days of CIE, drivers have been hired with no prior bus driving experience. The company provides training, then pays for the test. Nobody is driving a bus without receiving full training and passing the RSA driving test.
I did think that the "No experience or training required" diversity focussed ads that the bus companies were sending out to everyone over 50 on the dole was a bit of an optimistic approach to getting quality bus drivers...

Because, you absolute thick racist cunt, a thorough investigation has to take place, to determine whether the driver, the vehicle or something else was the cause. After the 2004 Wellington Quay crash, it took more than three years for the driver to be ultimately cleared.
If the female bus driver didn't have a "health issue" at the wheel, why hasn't she been charged with the murder of Frank Daly and reckless endangerment of the other people injured?
