I'm a hetero male. I want to assure ANYONE that my style (which has been my style for decades now) is NOT in anyway so I can "sneak" into women's restrooms. I truly wish androgyny and gender bending took a greater hold before the TRAs started what they have.

I should ask the same. The answer is, yes it makes sense, I'm a man. No clothing, no makeup, no nails, no voice change, no hair style, NOTHING will make me a woman. Use men's or neutral and stay out of Women's, particularly if you are intact down there.

I've done this since 92, though it branched out to what you see here in the 2000s. It bugs me how the trans movement seemed to halt the slow but steady break down of strict gender expression rules. Now gender non conforming people are pressured to think they are not right sex.

Billie Porter is a man, identifies as a man, and has talent you may not appreciate. He smashes gender rules limits and stereotypes (though he does support the "flamining gay, one"). He does not claim to be a woman. He is not forcing his way into women's spaces.
Can someone please explain why this should be celebrated & put on a pedestal.
I’ll stick to respecting first responders, care givers & the like, a million miles before this abomination.

I'm a heterosexual male, that just prefers feminine styles. I see gender rules and limits on styles to be innane and likely what has fed a lot of the trans issue. I don't wear my styles to "mock" women at all. People like Dylan make me look to be doing so.

Sooooo, since my post defending Billy Porter, I have since learned he is pro bio men in women's spaces, and TWAW. My post though was more directed at the attack of GNC males. I so wish Male GNC had better representation than people like Billy, Ru, etc.

This fellow absolutely nails it, and graciously. We only know how WE were raised. I can no more "feel" like a woman, anymore than I can "feel" how it is to be a cat. The experiences are so so different from my own. This has always been a stumping point for me.

I went to a private school. Uniforms and all. I had property destroyed, or damaged, was beaten, just because I was a red headed, freckle faced, squeaky voiced kid. That school was also like a "prison" for us students. Public or private schools just suck.

Honestly if I had my way, there would be no more gender based, dress, behavior, and generally no gender based limits on expression. I honestly wish the attitudes of Bowie, and other artists that bent gender had succeeded in getting it mainstream before the mid 90s.

In high school when not in class or work, I rocked big sweaters, shiny black leggings, and huge boots, I later adopted long dress shirts in a tunic style with goth "winklepickers". I loved those looks. This was in the early 90s. I never wished for what is happening now.
