My first job in Oz was with CSIRO because of the peak oil crisis in the 1970s. Oil would run out by 2000, Japan, Europe and President Carter in the USA were spending billions on alternative fuels and Exxon, BHP and CSR all contributed. However it turned out a scam.

Keep tweeting. I have 386 papers about 60% in geochemistry. I ran a CSIRO emissions program after I retired as a Dean. It was then & in 12yrs of retirement, I have put in 8hrs a day in this area. Lots of good science. You don't need this background though to detect a fish smell.

Before you read anything from the Climate Council this is the CSIRO ( Church and White) and pretty agreed level on sea level, you might see an increase of 50mm by 2030 ( 0.5cm). It's not going to affect any properties except those suffering from erosion.
