I was on a Malaysian plane. Both the flight announcements in BM & English had a heavy slang, which, in my opinion, is completely acceptable BUT...I couldn't understand what was being said. I asked a Malaysian guy sitting next to me & he agreed! Tak paham! ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ

I was chatting with the security guards where I live. He told me that they don't have annual leave, MC or whatsoever. If they take a 'day-off', it would be an unpaid day. He has parents, a wife & 2 kids back home & hasn't been home in 7 years. I heart broke!

The M'sian embassy here is very active. Every CNY, Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, National Day & etc...mesti buat open house. So much M'sian food, games & etc. Open to Malaysians & Singaporeans. I don't attend coz cannot find vegetarian food. SENANG!

In my 27 years of nursing, I have cried twice at work. Once when a 3 year old boy was dying in his mothers arms (literally) in the ICU. We carried the boy with all the tubes & lines & placed him in his mom's arms. She held him & watch him slip away.

The most satisfying part of my job as a nurse is 2 wipe the patient's face including ears & sleep crust & also comb the hair in the mornings. I wouldn't know how they feel but they usually smile after that & I usually say, "now you look handsome/beautiful"
