@kaiyumi42 Sikh is a religion. Not all Singhs and Kaurs are Sikhs though. Just like Hindu is a religion. Not all Indians are Hindus.

@PiscesWoman9 As the late great Prof Emeritus Khoo Kay Kim once said, its a challenge to live "Malaysian first" as we appear a constant contradiction to the extremes on both sides.

@dass_terrence To me it got clearer the minute I left Malaysia to work elsewhere so that I could put food on the table for my loved ones back home. Since then, I'm always Malaysian first! I'm careful how I carry myself because "I represent" Malaysia.
