3/3 πŸ”˜ Employed by 1 university hospital in Sweden that happened by "chance" β†ͺ️ I'm offered free education, opportunities to climb the career ladder (I'm at my 4th big step) although I'm NOT a citizen of this country. *** Reflect! Think abt it!

Facts of life as a Malaysian nurse. Why am I mistreated in the only country that I call home?!?! 1/3 πŸ”˜ Employed by 3 giant private hospitals in Klang Valley β†ͺ️ I was humiliated & bullied in 2 of these hospitals by immediate nursing managers.

2/3 πŸ”˜ Employed by 3 different military hospitals in Saudi Arabia β†ͺ️ I was promoted into nursing administration/management positions (without me having to apply) on 3 different occasions. Each time, a better position!

@PiscesWoman9 Well done Sandy. You have heart in what you love doing. Being appreciated is equally as important as what you have to offer, your diligent hard work always pays off & for being a woman at that.

@FranticKL Thank you for the kind words, Fran. I'm disappointed that I can't be home and closer to the family and yet do what I love. At times, it's heartbreaking πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

@PiscesWoman9 Malaysian gov is not serious in providing a holistic wellbeing for its healthcare workers which will kick us all in the end if we do not change the trajectory soon

@namanioktak The problem lies within the higher nursing administration leadership in the country. While they are contented with the top-down leadership, it is only ruining what's left of it in the clinical settings.
