@carcassone81452 @GMB Seven of my Aunts and Uncles volunteered in WWII into the British Army, Navy and Airforce from RoI, and my late father was a volunteer doctor in the Merchant Navy. They all voluntarily risked their lives to secure FREEDOM for Britain and also Western Europe. They would weep.

Fun fact! I grew up as a classical cellist since the age of 6 and went to the original Hogwarts in Edinburgh called St Mary’s Music School! JK Rowling is from Edinburgh and music is similar to magic. We are trained to follow a conductor who waves the magic wand/baton and suddenly

I cannot believe I came to Parliament to have to point out that we should NEVER use experimental/irreversible drugs *in trials on children under 13* which halt their puberty. But I will because I need to be able to sleep at night.

@joekelly100 @saylor @elonmusk @zerohedge Late to the discussion, @elonmusk is wrong and @joekelly100 is right Bitcoin is INFORMATION. It's only 'dependant' on energy in so far as the people who generate & use the information are dependent on energy. In other words it's people that are dependent on energy not Bitcoin.

Looks serious this time! "The United States — Britain’s most important ally — just declared that the very policies Labour supports are a threat to Western survival." AKA the survival of the USA.

BREAKING:🚨 RUBIO’S MIGRATION SHOCKWAVE JUST HIT LONDON 🚨 And Keir Starmer’s government should be very worried. The new U.S. State Department directive — declaring mass migration an “existential threat to Western civilization” — isn’t just an American policy shift. It’s a

Important to remember that the Assisted Dying bill was in no one’s manifesto, had inadequate scrutiny in the commons, passed with a much reduced majority at 3rd reading, is attracting increasing opposition from experts and that Lords have the right and duty to scrutinise it well.

The Sun is 99.8% of all mass in our solar system. Even if you somehow burned Jupiter and everything that is not the Sun in a fusion reactor, the Sun would still round up to 100% of all energy. The Sun is all that matters long-term.

@doctor_oxford @ObserverUK More than 1,500 bodies "pile up" every day in the UK, due to deaths from all causes. Most of them are elderly. No one apart from their loved ones cared, until 2020 when the media suddenly told us to start focusing intensely on about 15% of them, who had died within 28 days of a

The fact that the assisted dying bill was passed by the Commons is not a constitutional argument -- or any kind of argument -- for passing it in the Lords. It wasn't in any party's manifesto, so the electorate has not expressed a view at the ballot box; it's not a government

Lords role is to scrutinise not to block this bill. It is role of elected MPs to make important public policy decisions. Constitutionally wrong for unelected Lords to frustrate Commons (and go against overwhelming public support for Assisted Dying Bill)
