80 years ago the United States dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Over 200,000 people - overwhelmingly civilians - were killed in the only use of nuclear weapons in war. We must ensure it's never repeated by scrapping all nuclear weapons.

You should remember the millions killed by the Japanese in barbarities which were ended by a legitimate act of war, you perverted harpy.
80 years ago, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima - a crime against humanity that killed tens of thousands in an instant. We remember the victims and survivors, and recommit to building a world free from nuclear weapons. We also remember Gaza, where Israel has dropped.

I’m in Hiroshima and Nagasaki this week to mark 80 years since the atomic bomb. It's been incredibly moving to listen to survivors and their descendants calling for a future free of nuclear weapons. We are all human beings on one planet - let us build a world of peace for all!

You’re right - it’s @UKLabour enabling and encouraging every aspect of increasingly lawless Britain, not just by migrants.
I’m sure I’m not alone in deploring the sulphurous, near lynch mob atmosphere that Farage and his many media outriders are creating in linking asylum seekers as part of ‘ lawless Britain’. There are issues but much of this is extravagant poisonous hyperbole. Time to say so.

Needs remembering.
I like Japanese culture, but their conduct during the war was disgusting. One of my grandma's friends was kept in a POW camp there & his stories were the stuff of nightmares. Everyone conveniently forgets they were on the Nazis side & basically got away with it.
